Ever since the wave of humanism entered the consciousness of the human race centuries ago, envy has become more and more common place. I've been far too convinced how the Renaissance has paved way for us to turn into greedier individuals and thanks to colonisation, a purely western tradition of materialism has taken over a country like mine. D'ailleurs, the interference of the West on the East has never really been of a promising note well perhaps that is mainly speaking from a perspective like mine. Alors these days, I am seriously convinced that we are fated to live it or rather we are conditioned towards envy of the other. And in fashion that is pretty much the operative term- ENVY. In most cases, I feel like fashion is a mechanistic system of inducing envy and creating this complex web of this and that that is operated by envy.
This time around, I seem to seriously envy Jon Kortajarena's hairdo at this year's GQ Men of the Year Awards. It's somewhere in Elly Jackson territory yet less stiff and with a nice amount of bounce. In other words, the hair still looks that it wasn't styled by some really hard hair product or a term I could think of is malleable. I was thinking that if I sported hair like this and it happened to be a catastrophic windy day, it's fatal. Enfin, I could just stop at admiring with a declaration of much envy over Kortajarena's hair. Somehow, I wanted to turn my hair colour brown just a dark harmless shade close to black but then I always realise beforehand that I will be too lazy to maintain coloured hair. Ha Ha
