I’ve started a certain fascination with Romain Kremer over a year ago. There’s always something new and somewhat unexpected that comes along every season. Along with my bad habits of looking back at past seasons reactivating my fondness for certain pieces that I wish I had, it can only get more traumatic since most of the designer stuff I want I can’t afford and even have access to (haha). I looked back to Kremer’s SS07 collection which got me ooomphing and zooming in over just over one look or maybe if I can't help it a couple of looks. Obsessive is the operative term. I love going through my archives, looking and staring at runway looks from seasons past reassessing those looks like which ones would still tickle my fancy ‘til now or which would make me go in regret and declare such as catastrophic for the present or as simple as where the loving has gone opposite directions. For some reason, I have ended up with Romain Kremer. Since I have an affinity for white shirts, a certain reworking of the classic staple piece for men always tickle my fancy. Fast forward to SS09, Juun J gives me the shivers for the coming summer. For whatever reason, I have a certain weakness for white shirts. And personally for me, it’s just one piece of clothing that is never overrated and it’s always nice to see it reworked time and time again.
If I’m not mistaken my idol, Mr. Nicola Formichetti is a design consultant for Kremer. So it’s not hard to see why I am at par with the label. For all there is, I admit that I want to be a part of the Parisian fashion scene! wahaaaaa
